Things that he looks forward to after any job is the ability to make an actual good meal instead of small snacks due to focusing, a comfy bed, and civilian clothes. However when of the better parts was the possibility of calling up a certain university student that has maintained his attention and certainly being considered his though that fact was rather kept to himself than anything. That very person was the reason why he was ecstatic that the three days of hunting and scouting had ended so he can hit up his main safe house in the city.

A quick message is sent over in order to notify that the coast is clear and he's back at what he would consider his home. Then it's cleaning up his weapons and stowing them away before starting to even think about the process of stripping off his gear. However the better choice is to quickly get it off before snagging a shower to further de-merc himself, sighing contently at the warm water and taking his time. It's after checking his watch that he grumbles at his carelessness and waste of time to make him get dried off and scramble for clothes.

He had no idea when his boyfriend was going to show up and the last thing he wants to do is be found either in the damn shower or well coming out of it. So definitely getting on a pair of sweats if anything which is more so a fuss of grumbling and stumbling as he attempts to find something comfortable and suitable.

Jersey is back. Sigma usually doesn't mind when his boyfriend is away for work--it's dangerous, he gets that, and it gives him plenty of uninterrupted homework time--but three days? It feels a lot longer than it should have, probably because he knows it could be dangerous to call his boyfriend in the middle of a mission.

Now? That doesn't matter. He stopped at the apartment after class for long enough to brush his teeth, check his hair, and drop off his textbooks. The shuttle runs late (of course), but before long, he's knocking at the safehouse door, ready to welcome Jersey back.

Ok he's managed to at least get a pair of sweats on before he attempts to clean up further by brushing his teeth and shaving. He manages to do both without mistakes (thankfully) however that is most certainly a knock and he doesn't want to exactly leave him waiting. So Jersey forgoes pulling on the shirt he snatches off the chair in order to open up the door instead.

"Hey," he greets. "You came rather fast. Figured you had class work or the family would keep you."

"You caught me on my way out of class," he admits. "And my family understands. At least, they say they do, and I'm taking them at their word even if they don't mean it."

He's definitely not staring at Jersey's chest, and if he is, it's just to make sure he wasn't hurt on his mission. Totally innocent and everything.

Alright family at least is being moderately ok with all of this which is a good thing because he already has enough people harping on him. However Jersey is pretty sure that Sigma is not exactly focused on either school or his family anymore.

"My eyes are up here by the way." Yes Sigma he caught you staring. "Just saying. Keep it up and I'll make short work to see you in a same state."

Oh he was absolutely going to tease about this. Though it was also truthful in that he would gladly remove Sigma's shirt if given the chance because three days of no contact can place him in a toying mood.

"I'm just making sure you're okay! You know I'm not supposed to ask too much about work. How else am I supposed to know?" He teases. No need to let Jersey know how tempted he is by that offer.

"It did go well, right?"

"You are such a bad liar, you know that right," Jersey muses. "You allowed to know some things and I would never keep an injury from you. But only going to say so behind closed doors. Got to still be tough and all."

He moves aside in order to allow for Sigma to slip inside before shutting the door and padding off towards the couch. "It was good though. Worth the effort with the pay that got transferred. Mostly paid to scope things out."

Of course he's a bad liar. He's blushing terribly.

"Sorry. I'll save it until we're behind closed doors," he says.

Oh, look. The door is closed now. He's still curious, though. "That doesn't sound bad at all. And certainly not too messy."

He waves the remark off after fitting a comfortable spot on the couch to crash in. "You're good. No apologies necessary."

"I don't create messes. I solve them and well I keep my hands clean so to speak with the whole distance part. Plus only people who know what they exactly want order in a sharpshooter and I'm willing to carter if the price is good enough for the effort."

Sigma sits next to him, close enough that he still has to lean in. He'll give it a minute. Unless Jersey initiates.

"I'm glad you're good at your job," he says. "It means I don't worry as much when you're gone."

That lean in is a definite giveaway as to what the other man is planning so he hooks an arm around Sigma's shoulders and pulls him in close. He sure as hell was going to initiate this since he already spent enough time the past few days waiting for something to happen on his job. It was a pain to have nothing to put effort into other than watching.

Jersey noses at his temple before pressing a soft kiss, sighing contently. "I'd prefer if you did something else besides from worry while I'm away," he remarks.

Sigma laughs softly, grateful for the kiss. "You don't like being missed?" He teases back. "Don't worry. I had school to distract me. And the lab. And work. And my family. Plenty to do."

"There's a difference being missed and being worried over," Jersey corrects. He rolls his eyes though the gesture is good natured. "Good to know that I'm easily forgotten."

"Oh, I missed you plenty," he says. "I promise. Especially in the evenings."

"Hm I wonder what for," he teases. "What could I possibly have to offer in the evenings?"

"Dinner," he says without missing a beat. "Cmon, you cook better than anybody I know. And you even taught me how to cut down on kitchen fires."

"So what I'm your personal chef now? That's not the worst thing I've ever been coerced into doing though so," he returns.

"We could do worse," Sigma agrees, stealing a kiss. "Yes. I missed you. Not just your cooking."

"Hm well I could agree on that a hundred percent." Then he's pulling Sigma in closer to steal a much better kiss in his opinion, moving a hand to cradle the back of his neck as he drew it out as long as he was allowed. "Good. The feeling is mutual."

"Maybe it's okay to be missed once in awhile." Especially if it gets Jersey to kiss him like this. Sigma wouldn't ask Jersey not to leave--his boyfriend's job is too important to him--so he thoroughly enjoys their reunions instead. He slips his arms around his boyfriend's waist, helping close the space between them. His splayed fingers press against Jersey's bare back. Right. His boyfriend is shirtless. Blushing, Sigma kisses him even more eagerly.

Jersey hums contently into the kiss, taking a small break away from Sigma before going back for a much more in depth one. His arm around the man's shoulder remains a steadying force to let his other hand roam down his back slowly, inching along each bump of his spine with a gentle touch. Definitely going to tease about how eager Sigma was about this. Always was after he returned from long missions and he wasn't going to exactly complain about it then let alone right now.

The touch at his spine makes him shiver. Grinning into the kiss, he lets his own hands wander Jersey's bare skin. Isn't he allowed to celebrate a little when his boyfriend comes home? Jersey certainly isn't complaining about the welcome, either, and he complains about almost everything.

Yea he won't ever deny that he finds some reason to complain but this was one of many times that fell into special criteria that made it impossible. Jersey let's out a pleased noise at the continued kiss, shifting Sigma up with the help of his hand having made a firm hold on his backside, slipping the hand into the back pocket of Sigma's pants after making that move. He wasn't going to push things too far but he could definitely take his chance at making the student squeak once or twice before doing anything drastic.

Oh. Definitely not expecting that. Squeaking in surprise, he squirms so he's sitting up closer. One knee settles between Jersey's, not yet slipping between them but still offering.

Yup, there's the squeak that he had been hoping for. Smirking briefly, Jersey breaks the kiss to duck his head down and press open mouthed kisses along Sigma's pulse, taking his time with each one before moving onto the next. He parts his legs at the inquiring knee and waits for him to settle before giving a small rock of his hips, wanting to see what exactly he had planned.

Those kisses on his neck make him shudder. What was he doing again? Right. Positioning himself so he's more or less draped across Jersey. He knows full well that he could get free if he wanted, but this position gives Sigma more freedom to let his hands wander up Jersey's chest.
